Bill Johnston, Chief Community Officer, Forum OneBill Johnston, an authority on online community development and management, has been active in the online community space since 1999. He came to Forum One from Autodesk, where he served as the Online Strategy Manager, with responsibilities
including a portfolio of online communities and blogs. Previously he oversaw user experience tasks at TechRepublic, an IT professionals community. He also directs the Online Community Roundtable, an invitation-based professional networking series for online community professionals to share best practices and experiences.
Rob Harles, SVP, Sears Holdings
Rob Harles is Senior Vice President of Sears Holding Company and the executive who developed and launched the Sears Community. The Community solicits feedback from its customers across all of the Sears’ brands on issues ranging from customer service to product quality to merchandise selection. With thousands of registered users, sk-you.com is one of the largest communities of its kind. Before joining Sears Holding Company, Rob was Senior Vice President of comScore Networks in charge or Retail, Travel and Technology and a Senior Consultant in the financial services practice with McKinsey & Co.
Kate Niederhoffer, Senior Partner, Dachis Group
Kate is a senior partner at the Dachis Corporation. She joined the team from Nielsen Online, where she was the
VP of Measurement Science, liaising between Research, Product, and R&D. Kate focused on developing internal methodologies and supportive technology, introducing established Nielsen data to consumer-generated media, and consulting on innovative client requests. Kate has spoken at industry events and conferences including WOMMA, MediaX, ARF and ICWSM, and is published in several academic journals.
